We will utilize approved disinfectant to clean all surfaces touched while testing; including tools used to perform each test.
For residential customers a technician normally would knock on your door before testing. Now we will be communicating strictly via email and over the phone. Appointments will continue to be arranged in advance.
With COVID 19 in the forefront, Oregon Backflow Testing would like to ask commercial customers to have a site contact available via phone to verify the scheduled appointment and while the backflow testing is being performed. During testing we ask that the site contact be reachable by phone to communicate while maintaining social distance and to safeguard both parties.
In addition, we have been in communication with your water district and are prepared to ask for an extension if the situation is warranted.
